This one-way paging system is ideal for use where many people across an installation need to have access to pager carriers and it is not necessarily convenient to route calls through a dedicated central control. It can be fully integrated with an existing PBX, allowing anyone to call a pager from a desk telephone. If a central console can be used there are two types; a text terminal with a QWERTY keyboard and an internal modem capable of transmitting messages to wide area pagers or via SMS to GSM phones.
All use pre-programmed messages that can be made specific by adding extra numerics. This system also enables simultaneous paging of a number of pocket units that have been predetermined as a work group, enabling say, all Medical Team, security or maintenance staff to receive the same alert at one time.
An AtEx 912T pager is also available.
